Where's all the damm snow!!! Our crazy climate is now threatening the halt the opening of many European ski resorts and cancel more world cup ski events with this week seeing the cancellation of the Ladies DH and SG scheduled in Val d'Isère due to happen on 16-17th of Dec.
There we were thinking how great global warming was giving us warmer summers!! Well it ain't so cool now!

Well it ain't all bad, America and Canada are still getting their expected snowfall with many resorts opening their slopes last weekend. Also snow conditions in many French, Swiss and Austrian resorts improved greatly last week, with 20 cm of new snow falling in Val Thorens and Alpe d’Huez. So chins up!! And if you're prepared to take a bit of a gamble you can get some great xmas and new year European ski deals. New feature update.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick feature update.
You may or may not have have noticed the new "recent visitors" block on your homepage (see image attached). Basically, it records the last 6 visitors to your homepage and is aimmed at helping you connect with other users. The block will only be shown when you have had some visitors.
Also we've removed the "similar members" block to accommodate the new block!

Hope you enjoy the new feature, if you have any problems / suggestions let us know!!

Santa Cruz Bikes 2007 preview

Just when you thought you knew what every bike manufacturer was offering for 2007, Santa Cruz go and release pictures of this. It's the re-incarnation of their Bullit which has been completely re-designed since the original Bullit was discontinued. As the original, this rig is designed to go anywhere, go down stuff, go off big things type bike and not be too much of a pig to get back up the hill.

The massive 20mm single pivot should be pretty stiff, and runs on what looks suspiciously like a set of Shimano bottom bracket bearings/cups. The 1.5" headtube will let you match the frame up with any fork you fancy, and the replaceable dropouts mean you can run a 135mm or 150mm rear hub.

Going to the sloppes and found Selly waiting for the bus. Gave her a lift and when we got there I had to put my snowmobile on top of the truck to take to the mechanic. When we left I had to change lanes quickly and that caused the snowmobile to crash.

Based out of Pine Rivers Shire in Brisbane and now in its third year, the DK King Of Dirt is one of Australia’s premier BMX dirt jumping competitions. It's like yoga on water. Wow! An exciting new sport called stand up Paddle Boarding has emerged as THE sport for celebrities and everyday fitness enthusiasts alike. It’s fun and as a bonus, it's a great fitness program. Celebrities like Jennifer Anniston, Matthew McConaughey and Pierce Brosnan have been caught-on-tape practicing this new sport while grinning from ear to ear.
It is a growing trend still its infancy, but expected to hit critical mass within the next couple of years. The sport is rapidly gaining momentum and has become a complimentary sport for surfers. Its origin is believed to have come from Polynesia and later popularized in Hawaii. I'm not sure about all that, but I do feel a little tribal when I'm doing it!

Indigenous tribes would have been seen paddling in hollowed-out logs and tree trunks. Today, the logs are lightweight, colorful and shiny!

Who are those people you've seen in the middle of lakes and on our shorelines, who appear to be walking on water? They are people just like you, however they are the fortunate pioneers who have discovered this versatile activity. Paddle boarding can be considered a sport if you choose to “ride” the waves or put some muscle into getting some speed or a leisure activity if you choose to stroll through winding canals as if you were taking a walk or a bike ride through a neighborhood with streets of water. This is an activity that can be experienced alone or as a social experience with friends or family.
